Job Summary

An education company is filling a position for a Telecommute Middle School English Language Arts Teacher.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Conducting live synchronous teaching – minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
  • Establishing and maintaining positive rapport with families

Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to travel for various school functions, student testing, and professional development
  • Bachelor's degree and six months of student teaching experience
  • Appropriate state teaching certification
  • Knowledge of state content standards and ability to align those with the curriculum
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
  • Must meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under NCLB
