Job Summary
A university youth program needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Middle School Honors Algebra Instructor in Baltimore.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Monitoring student progress and assist students in accomplishing established learning objectives
- Providing timely feedback to students and their parents on coursework and progress
- Interacting independently with students using distance education technologies
Skills and Requirements Include:
- May be required to communicate with internal and external audiences face-to-face
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in mathematics or related field
- Two years of related experience is required, such as instruction or tutoring of middle school students
- Must have a computer with broadband Internet access
- Ability to quickly learn new software, as needed
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
