Job Summary
A large staffing firm is in need of a Telecommute Mortgage Loan Underwriter in Centennial.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing and evaluating loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and guidelines
- Analyzing customer applications and supporting documentation to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation
- Using expertise to resolve escalated issues from junior-level teammates
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in loan underwriting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with Loan Processors and Loan Officers on collecting information and documentation to finalize incomplete loan packages
- Ability to review appraisals to ensure that loans meet secondary market, investor, and company standards
- Ability to underwrite Conventional, FHA, Home Equity and Jumbo Loans
- Ability to perform Loan Administration and Loan Underwriting
