Job Summary

A mortgage company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Underwriting residential loans ensuring compliance with appropriate company
• Examining loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Underwriting retail loans within the company and industry guidelines

Required Skills:

• Local travel may be required for company or career-related meetings, programs, and/or events
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
• 4+ years of residential loan underwriting experience
• Credit signing authority experience preferred
