Job Summary

A banking and mortgage institution has a current position open for a Telecommute Mortgage Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Completing thorough analysis of loan files
  • Responding to post-closing, insuring, and audit reviews in a timely fashion
  • Completing all required data entry into FAMC loan tracking systems

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of origination underwriting experience
  • Knowledge of Fannie/Freddie, FHA/VA, RD, and State Housing guidelines
  • Thorough knowledge of automated underwriting systems
