Core Responsibilities Include:
- Review and analyze loan applications, asset documentation, credit reports in accordance with agency and non-agency guidelines
- Communicate findings to loan officers and processors
- Review conditions and loan re-submissions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High school diploma
- Three years plus of experience underwriting agency and non-agency mortgage loans
- Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, and Private Mortgage insurance property and credit underwriting guidelines
- Understanding of complicated transactions and tax return analysis
- Experience reviewing mortgage applications and US mortgage regulations
