Job Summary
A motor technology company is in need of a Telecommute Multiphysics Simulation Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Perform in-house tests to measure NVH data for comparison and correlation with simulations
- Perform NVH analysis on switched reluctance motors from 0.25 to 50HP
- Develop reliable models for accurately predicting the acoustic noise
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel would be <20%
- Masters in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Mechanics
- 10+ years work experience performing NVH analyses for rotating machines
- Understanding of mechanical FEA analysis for noise, acoustic, vibration, and thermal
- Familiarity with electric motors
- Flexibility and adaptability, ready to work in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace
