A music publication is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Music Writer in the San Francisco Area.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Writing about contemporary classical music
• Writing music reviews

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco as needed
• Knowledge and interest in contemporary classical
• Excellent writing skills
• Deep familiarity with the musical scene beyond major presenters
• Some form of musical training
• Familiarity with journalistic practices and ethics
