Job Summary
A healthcare technology company has an open position for a Telecommute MySQL Database Administrator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Staging and deploying database changes to production
- Monitoring production system and proactively optimizing database performance
- Assisting in designing Backup and Recovery strategies
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years e xperience with supporting a multi-tenanted hosting infrastructure with hundreds of customers
- Experience with MySQL replication and log shipping/mirroring
- Skills with T-SQL and query tuning
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Practical experience working within an ITIL or ISO based environment with established SLA's and SOP's
