Job Summary

A banking and payments technology is filling a position for a Telecommute Network Architect and Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Define overall network strategy and direction at the company
  • Design and implement network solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Expert level knowledge and experience with MPLS across a global WAN including multi-protocol BGP (mBGP)
  • Expert level knowledge and experience with overlay protocols such as VxLAN with EVPN
  • Expert level knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and RIP
  • Practical knowledge of BGP peering types and attributes
  • Understanding of control-plane and data-plane functionality and their respective API programmability
  • Broad expert level network vendor experience including Cisco Nexus 9K
