A company providing online backup solutions is filling a position for a Telecommute Network Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Comparing the defined standards for network configurations against active deployments
  • Maintaining monitoring and alerting of Network-related assets
  • Obtaining and maintaining cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)

Required Skills:

  • Ability to travel occasionally for network maintenance, refreshes, and assessments
  • 2-4 years of networking experience in Cisco, Arista, or Juniper
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications, or equivalent
  • Experience with monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds, PagerDuty
  • Experience with Layer 1, 2, and 3 routing and switching protocols
  • Experience with Other protocols such as 802.1q, 802.1x, 802.11, RADIUS, SNMP, QoS
