Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Telecommute NICU Utilization Review Registered Nurse in Austin.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Maintaining productivity and meets all UR performance standards
  • Performing concurrent payor reviews for medical appropriateness
  • Serveing as the primary contact for all payors

Position Requirements Include:

  • Attends education sessions each year for internal and external customers regarding utilization management
  • RN with current state licensure
  • Knowledge of InterQual or related evidenced based criteria sets
  • Two years of experience in case management, utilization management or related field
  • Computer experience required
  • Two years of experience in case management, utilization management or related field
