Job Summary
An online programming school is in need of a Telecommute Nights and Weekends Web Development Instructor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering high quality workshops based on the curriculum materials
- Maintaining and updating the daily and weekly student syllabus
- Providing minimum 4 hours of on-demand video and chat support for students
Position Requirements Include:
- Available to instruct Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-9:30pm Eastern and/or 6:30-9:30pm Pacific
- Previous experience in teaching, mentorship, lecturing, or instruction
- Strong expertise with front-end technologies
- Expertise with Data Structures and Algorithms, and comfort explaining these topics
- Ability to explain complicated topics clearly and without jargon
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
