Job Summary
A technology consulting company delivering mobile enterprise solutions is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute NOC Engineering Manager in Crownsville.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Managing and coordinating the NOC team
- Assuring that the networking system runs effectively without interruption, and assuring that performance meets and exceeds SLAs
- Quickly developing innovative solutions in response to various networking problems and directing the execution of these solutions
Qualifications Include:
- At least three years’ experience as an IT Operations Center Manager role in an organization similar in size and complexity to the environment supported by this contract
- Experience with 24x7x365 staffed operations center
- Experience monitoring and managing the configuration of 500+ network devices
- Possession of current ITIL Foundation certification plus 1 intermediate level certification
- 12 years of experience in a computer-related field
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
