Job Summary

A health services company has a current position open for a Telecommute Nurse Auditor 2.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Develop recommendations and possible solutions to resolve audit disputes
  • Utilize nursing knowledge in conjunction with interpretation of the medical record per billing issues
  • Manage case inventory to ensure timely scheduling of remote audits

Qualifications Include:

  • Current R.N. license or LPN/LVN license
  • Two years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital
  • Three to four years medical claim review or experience as a charge audit nurse
  • Experienced in Infusion and Injection charge hierarchy, Out Pt procedure charges and other charges related.
  • Experience in use of the electronic medical record
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office
