Responsibilities

The Nurse Case Reviewer is a part of a national team providing case review and case management services in support of a number of federal government contracts.

- This is a permanent, full-time position.
- Works independently in a home office setting while still being part of a supportive team.
- Provides Nurse Case Review services within a federal workers' compensation environment for cases with extended duration of disability. The review is through our specialized CARE unit.
- Within the well-established processes of the CARE unit, responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for case resolution working in close collaboration with the federal agency staff.

Qualifications

- Unrestricted state registered nursing license
- National certification in related field
- Must live in an eNLC state
- 3 + years of clinical nursing experience
- 3 + years of case review or case management experience
- Preference given to Nurses with National certification in case management or related field but will consider applicant if certification is obtained within 12 months of date of hire
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Strong relationship building skills
- Deep desire to make a difference, to collaborate with a highly talented set of peers and to work on interesting and critical cases
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Windows
- Exceptional service orientation
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable
- Established Home office with Internet Router in the office
- Cable or Fiber Optic Internet connection
- U.S. Citizenship
- Upon hire, a federal security clearance will be required
- Ability to pass a preliminary credit and background check
