Job Summary
A university has a current position open for a Telecommute Nursing Academic Department Chair.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supervising full and part-time faculty
- Interviewing, hiring, and training faculty
- Planning, assigning, and directing work while appraising performance
Qualifications for this position include:
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field (PhD, DNP, EdD) from a regionally accredited institution
- Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered license in the U.S.
- Certification in their area of specialization
- 3-5 years' experience in post-secondary education
- Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft Office applications and adobe connect meeting technology
- Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills
