Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Occupational Medicine Utilization Review Physician in La Porte.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reviewing medical files and providing recommendations for utilization review
• Returning cases in a timely manner
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications for this position include:

• Ability to attend orientation and training
• Board certified MD, DO, with an excellent understanding of network services and managed care
• Current, unrestricted clinical license(s)
• Board certification by American Board of Medical specialties or American Board of Osteopathic Specialties
• Must be in active medical practice to perform appeals
• Other requirements as outlined in the job description
