Job Summary
An online health evaluation company is filling a position for a Telecommute On Demand Telepsychiatrist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Utilizing televideo technology to diagnose and treat consumers with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders
- Organizing data concerning consumer’s family, medical history and onset of symptoms
- Determining nature and extent of mental disorder, and the most appropriate disposition for each consumer
Position Requirements Include:
- Board certified or board eligible Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in providing services within outpatient settings
- Ability to successfully interact and collaborate with administrative, institutional and medical staff remotely
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced emergency department or crisis center setting from home
