Job Summary
A data warehousing, analytics, and outcomes-improvement company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Oncology Data Specialist II.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Integrating data in a flexible, open & scalable platform to power healthcare's digital transformation
- Performing necessary case finding functions to ensure the complete ascertainment of eligible cases
- Performing quality check of abstracts following the COC requirements, and report to cancer committee
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Microsoft Office products
- Current Certified Tumor Registrar
- Knowledge of or ability to learn how to navigate various cancer registry databases and electronic health records
- Ability to establish partnerships with customers to accomplish the goals of the work
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
