Job Summary
A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Telecommute Oncology Registrar in Baltimore.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing daily coding and abstracting activities of the Tumor Registry area
- Maintaining records of living patients to obtain end-result information on the quality and length of survival
- Identifying all cases of malignant diseases treated at the Medical Center
Qualifications for this position include:
- Qualified candidates must be a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) through NCRA
- Progressive experience as a health information technician or manager in a Tumor Registry, HIM Department or similar function
- Minimum of an Associate Degree or other health information management credentials preferred
