Job Summary
An internet company has a current position open for a Telecommute Search Engine Optimization Wrangler.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Building and refining great search experiences
- Combining and building signals from many sources to craft and evaluate novel search algorithms
Qualifications for this position include:
- Expect to travel three to four weeks per year
- Experience with Open Source search systems
- Great programming skills in both dynamic and compiled languages
- Knowledge of scaling search systems
- Ability to take a project from idea to implementation
- Deep understanding of distributed computing and system performance
