Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Telecommute Oracle Database Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform high-level technical resolution of incidents
  • Install, patch and update Oracle & MSSQL Databases
  • Manage and test Database backup and recovery plan

Position Requirements Include:

  • 7+ years relevant experience in Oracle and SQL Server Support
  • Certification in Oracle DB 11g/12c and MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014
  • ITIL Foundation certified
  • Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, Backup and recovery support
  • Good Knowledge and experience on Oracle database migration
  • Experience on backup and recovery using RMAN integrated with NetApps/VERITAS
