Job Summary
An intelligent transportation systems provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Oracle Database Administrator Developer in Austin.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Installing, maintaining, tuning and troubleshooting Oracle Databases
- Managing the entire SDLC from requirements interpretation, design, documentation, coding, review and testing
- Designing, installing and supporting various installations for clients
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Oracle DBA experience including proficiency administering Oracle databases without the use of a GUI
- Experience in a database developer role with strong experience writing effective PL/SQL code
- Oracle RAC experience including installation and initial configuration and troubleshooting
- Proficient of Bash scripting on Linux
- Oracle database upgrades and patching
- Significant database design experience including data modeling and creation of database objects
