Job Summary
A non-profit organization is filling a position for a Telecommute Organizing Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and supporting statewide teams of leaders to build power and win campaigns across the state
- Working with the state leadership team and organizers to build state coalition and partner relationship
- Managing state organizers to ensure productive, strategic campaigns and to drive growth
Qualifications for this position include:
- Travel statewide as needed
- At least five years of experience in a grassroots organizing or a campaign setting
- Experience and comfort with fundraising
- A strong understanding of campaign development
- A passion for climate justice issues, including an analysis around climate change
- Experience in organizing and movement building with an emphasis on effective leadership development
