Job Summary

A health insurance company has a current position open for a Telecommute Orthopedics Registered Nurse in the Houston Area.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performing assessments to create a care plan
• Conducting medical management activities
• Performing condition management and care coordination services

Required Skills:

• Initial training for this position will be approximately 3-4 weeks in the Dallas/Fort-Worth Area
• Ability to travel occasionally as needed including overnight stays
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current, valid, unrestricted license in The State of Texas
• 2 years of direct clinical care as an RN to the patient/consumer in a clinical setting
• 3 years wellness or managed care experience as an RN presenting clinical issues with members/physicians
• Knowledge of the health and wellness marketplace and employer trends.
