Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Outpatient Coder in Irving.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments and procedures
- Meet or exceed an accuracy rate of 95%
- Participate in both internal and external audit discussions
Position Requirements Include:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Two(2) years of Outpatient coding in an accute care setting
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) (AHIMA)
- Certified Outpatient Coder (COC) (AAPC)
