Job Summary
A health services company is in need of a Telecommute Outpatient Medical Coder.
Must be able to:
- Code a minimum average of 10 Outpatient encounters per hour with 95% accuracy
- Accurately perform the full scope of outpatient multi-specialty coding
- Follow site-specific coding guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) / Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) / Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P)
- Clinical Modification/Procedure Coding System Trainer
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Professional Coder-Hospital (CPC-H)
