Job Summary
A privately-held open source technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Partner Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Technically supporting the partner/customer to fulfill contractual obligations
- Testing, troubleshooting, and debugging issues
- Serving as a liaison between partner and product engineering team
Qualifications for this position include:
- Global travel 2 to 4 times per year for internal and external events
- Experience working with server-class hardware, firmware, and software
- Strong software development background and experience with Linux software packaging
- Experience with Linux systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud computing concepts
