Job Summary

A non-profit health care system is filling a position for a Telecommute Patient Access Services Representative.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Demonstrating a thorough understanding of insurance guidelines
  • Prioritizing workload in order to accurately complete daily worklist
  • Developing payment plans for all patients that are not able to pay their full liability at the time of service

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Associate’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
  • Clear understanding of the impact financial counseling has on Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
