Job Summary
A non-profit health care system is filling a position for a Telecommute Patient Access Services Representative.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of insurance guidelines
- Prioritizing workload in order to accurately complete daily worklist
- Developing payment plans for all patients that are not able to pay their full liability at the time of service
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Associate’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- Clear understanding of the impact financial counseling has on Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
