Job Summary

A provider of healthcare managed services is filling a position for a Telecommute Patient Account Representative in Frisco.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Making telephone calls and accessing payer websites
  • Identifying issues and providing suggestions for resolution
  • Performing appropriate billing functions and verifying claims adjudication

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Must attend meetings, training seminars and in-services
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 0-4 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance related collections
  • Intermediate technical skills including PC and MS Outlook
  • Intermediate knowledge of UB-04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
  • Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
