Job Summary
A provider of healthcare managed services is filling a position for a Telecommute Patient Account Representative in Frisco.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Making telephone calls and accessing payer websites
- Identifying issues and providing suggestions for resolution
- Performing appropriate billing functions and verifying claims adjudication
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must attend meetings, training seminars and in-services
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 0-4 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance related collections
- Intermediate technical skills including PC and MS Outlook
- Intermediate knowledge of UB-04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) interpretation
- Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
