Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Telecommute Payer Contracting Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting market analysis and research to develop a payor contracting strategy
• Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to lead negotiations and model financial expectations
• Continually assessing and making recommendations for new managed care opportunities

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in payer contracting with provider organizations
• Significant experience contracting with payers including financial analysis, payment methodologies and contract language
• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university 5 years or more of related experience
• Are a self-starter and have the ability to operate independently
• Have experience developing and fostering payer relationships
• Have demonstrated experience in negotiating payer contracts
