Telecommute Payroll Manager

Job Summary

A clinical laboratory testing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Payroll Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Hiring, coaching, scheduling/delegating work, conducting performance reviews for a team of Payroll tax professionals
• Serving as technical expert for Payroll issues through a deep understanding of Payroll and Tax regulations
• Auditing Payroll processing results, balancing W-2's / W-2Cs, and managing existing and new legislation

Qualifications Include:

• 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ Years proven Payroll experience in a multi-state Payroll environment
• Workday Report familiarity and Payroll tax or processing experience
• Analytical and problem solving skills along with advanced Excel skills
• Good time management and prioritization skills along with great communications skills
• Systems experience, preferably Workday and ADP SmartCompliance
