Job Summary
A clinical laboratory testing company is filling a position for a Telecommute Payroll Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Hiring, coaching, scheduling/delegating work, conducting performance reviews for a team of Payroll tax professionals
- Serving as technical expert for Payroll issues through a deep understanding of Payroll and Tax regulations
- Auditing Payroll processing results, balancing W-2's / W-2Cs, and managing existing and new legislation
Qualifications Include:
- 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years proven Payroll experience in a multi-state Payroll environment
- Workday Report familiarity and Payroll tax or processing experience
- Analytical and problem solving skills along with advanced Excel skills
- Good time management and prioritization skills along with great communications skills
- Systems experience, preferably Workday and ADP SmartCompliance
