Job Summary

A behavioral health solutions company is in need of a Telecommute Peer Support Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assisting members in articulating personal goals for recovery
  • Utilizing tools to assist members in creating their own individual wellness and recovery plans
  • Assisting members in building social skills in the community

Required Skills:

  • Valid driver license and proof of insurance.
  • High school diploma
  • Personal life experience with mental illness and/or substance abuse
  • Eligible for and has completed local state Peer Specialist Certificate Program or has 2 years of sustained recovery
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organization skills
