Telecommute Penetration Tester

Job Summary

An IT and engineering firm has an open position for a Telecommute Penetration Tester.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Penetrating desktops, servers, applications, operating systems, and security systems to gain root/admin access
• Modifying open-source exploits to bypass/evade antivirus, firewalls, hardened systems, and IDS/IPS systems
• Configuring phishing and smishing environments to support social engineering testing

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT, Computer, etc with 5+ years of experience or a High School Diploma/equivalent and 9 years of experience
• Experience with programming/scripting: Python, PowerShell, Ruby, C, JavaScript, etc.
• Experience with Tenable Nessus Pro, Kali Linux, BurpSuite, and Metasploit tools
• Experience profiling network users or system administrators and their activities
• Experience performing analysis of physical and logical digital technologies
• Experience providing infrastructure analysis
