Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Performance Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Owning the core architecture of the application and will help advise in determining the future direction
• Improving the performance of the various endpoints of the application through optimization techniques
• Recommending adjustments in the underlying data models to enable us to read/write in larger datasets

Required Skills:

• Hands-on role in the broader transition from one architectural pattern to another
• Knack for benchmarking, analyzing and updating complex API endpoints to create streamlined interfaces
• Firm grasp of database principles as they relate to designing models which enable concurrency, reliability and scalability
• Experience developing load testing automation in complex environments
• Implemented load balancing and are familiar with the various load distribution algorithms
• Extensive experience with New Relic or another comparable application performance monitoring platform
