Job Summary

A monitoring platform for cloud applications is seeking a Telecommute Performance Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Coach other engineers to craft quantitative models of their systems' performance and cost
• Solve difficult performance issues
• Build tools that help everyday analysis

Required Skills:

• A strong foundational knowledge of modern, distributed computing
• A proven track record of understanding the performance of large-scale services, quantitatively and in fine details
• Able to locate profilers, debuggers, and tracers, especially in a linux environment
• Persistence, focus, and creativity to get to the bottom of the matter at issue
• Strong communication tools and enthusiasm for the craft
