Job Summary

A healthcare company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Pharmacy Manager in Long Beach.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the Pharmacy Prior Authorization Unit
  • Provide clinical, administrative, financial and regulatory management of Pharmacy services
  • Optimize and support continuous workflow process improvements

Qualifications Include:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in the healthcare industry, managed care organization or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience working in a managed care setting
  • Previous healthcare supervisory or management experience
  • Experience executing prior authorizations
  • Good experience working with or for a PBM
