Job Summary
An insurance company is in need of a Telecommute Pharmacy Operations Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Making recommendations, develops, and implements improved operational processes
- Assisting in the design, development and documentation processes
- Hiring, training, coaching and evaluating performance of the respective professional and support staff
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Remote in Nashville or Chattanooga
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience (4 years professional experience) required
- 5 years' experience in managed care pharmacy and/or retail pharmacy required
- Understanding of health care, PBM, and pharmaceutical industries required
- Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines (FDA, NCQA, EQRO, CMS) required
- Knowledge of pharmacy coverage review processes and guidelines required
