Job Summary

A chain of pharmacies and drugstores has a current position open for a Telecommute Pharmacy Product Quality and Regulatory Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Informing the organization of changes in FDA regulations and issues recalls/withdrawals on our Brand products
• Providing organizational oversight around labeling compliance and product registration of our brand products
• Establishing system and procedures for product specification collection and management

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology or related science disciplines of quality assurance management
• 7 years of experience in Roles of increasing complexity in Compliance and/or Quality Assurance function in a Retail company
• 5 years of experience in Working knowledge of FDA and Prop 65 regulatory requirements combined with experience in developing compliance strategies
• 5 years of experience in Experience in developing quality assurance programs supported by a record of implementing continuous improvement programs
• Ability to establish system and procedures for product specification collection and management
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders on product quality and customer complaint resolution
