Job Summary
A virtual educational institute has an open position for a Telecommute PhD Health Services Academic Program Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing, evaluating and maintaining the quality and integrity of the Ph.D. in Health Services and Doctor of Healthcare Administration program curriculum
- Coordinating faculty recruitment, orientation, development, mentoring and evaluation
- Supervising the full and part-time faculty assigned to the program
Position Requirements Include:
- Some travel required (minimally twice per year)
- Management Skills
- Earned doctorate from an accredited institution in Health Services / Health Management or a closely related field
- Three to five years of teaching experience at the graduate level
- Evidence of effective academic leadership and management
- A significant record of intellectual and professional contributions to the field of Health Services
