Job Summary
A software and web development company has an open position for a Telecommute PHP Javascript and WordPress Full Stack Developer in Charleston.
Must be able to:
- Write clean, elegant code that follows a consistent structure and meets established standards, and contains tests
- Build integrations with application APIs
- Parse and understand MySQL queries and rewrite them as necessary for performance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of relevant agency work experience as a fullstack developer, backend developer, or front-end dev with solid PHP or JavaScript experience
- Experience having developed for and are very familiar with WordPress from previous work
- Demonstrated knowledge Git and adherence to a workflow, including continuous integration and deployment
- Understanding of front-end templating, especially React and Next.js
- Familiarity with WordPress development, including custom plugins, custom table structures, and back-end tuning
- Experience having worked with Laravel, including building for scale and taking a microservices approach for applications
