A healthcare company has a current position open for a Telecommute Physical Therapy Credentialing and Administrative Specialist in New York.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and maintaining the insurance credentialing/rostering process for Joint Academy’s individual PTs
- Monitoring provider licenses, certifications and professional liability coverage to ensure they remain current
- Assisting with patient support and admin with prior authorization and referral needs
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in credentialing and knowledge of credentialing process
- Proficiency with CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS
- Basic understanding of physician referral workflows
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and G Suite
