Job Summary

A healthcare provider is in need of a Telecommute Physician Clinical Reviewer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Reviewing all cases in which clinical determinations cannot be made by the Initial Reviewer
• Discussing determinations with requesting physicians or ordering providers
• Providing clinical rationale for standard and expedited appeals

Required Skills:

• Attend hearings
• MD
• Physician, State Licensure and Board Certified
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in one or more states of the United States
• Familiarity with the principles and procedures of utilization management
