Telecommute Physician Coding Compliance Auditor

Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Physician Coding Compliance Auditor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluating clinical coding performed by internal coding staff
• Auditing code entry/billing aspects of the clinical coding
• Performing prospective and/or retrospective reviews to inventory coding errors

Qualifications Include:

• 5-10 years coding experience
• 5-7 years experience coding and/or auditing in an physician office and/or clinic settings
• Recognized coding credential from AHIMA or AAPC; an RHIA or RHIT may also be considered
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong team player
