Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Telecommute Physician Revenue Cycle Coder.

Must be able to:

• Review physician-assigned diagnosis code after thorough review of the medical record
• Assign codes for diagnoses, treatments and procedures
• Meet and/or exceed the established coding productivity standards

Qualifications Include:

• Must have CCS-P, COC, CPC or CPC-A
• Minimum of 3 years professional coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and rules established by the American Medical Association
• Extensive knowledge of government, and commercial payer guidelines
