Job Summary

A non-profit to support refugees and immigrant children is in need of a Telecommute Policy and Advocacy Senior Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading policy and advocacy decisions
  • Providing Congressional staff with technical expertise for hearings
  • Analyzing legal and policy issues related to our mission

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Ability to travel as assigned
  • JD degree
  • 10+ years’ experience in a legal or advocacy role
  • Knowledge of the administrative and legislative processes
  • Working knowledge of children’s immigration issues, particularly unaccompanied minors
  • Experience with U.S. and international organizations serving immigrants and refugees
