Job Summary
A human rights non profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Policy and Advocacy Strategist in Austin.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Engaging in policy and advocacy strategy and coordination
- Providing legislative tracking and policy analysis
- Conducting state leader training and support
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability and desire to travel up to 30% (when safe)
- Experience in state-level policy advocacy
- Knowledge of legislative and administrative process and procedures
- Strong group trainer and facilitator
- Advocacy and legislative campaign planning
- Experience using VAN and predictive models
