Job Summary

An education management company has an open position for a Telecommute Policy and Advocacy Vice President.

Must be able to:

  • Develop partnership plan associated with policy agenda and proactively initiate and manage senior level relationships
  • Develop and direct a policy agenda, craft policy positions, and execute strategies to enact the agenda
  • Provide strategic guidance to inform our policy agenda

Position Requirements Include:

  • Ability to travel as required, up to 25%
  • Deep knowledge of the federal and state legislative and regulatory process
  • Minimum 10 years government relations experience and extensive Capitol Hill, legislative, education and public policy knowledge
  • Ability to interact at the highest level of professionalism with all grassroots advocates, consultants, corporate and board contacts
  • Proven ability to speak and write persuasively and with clarity
  • Ability to manage budget and external resources
