Job Summary
A civil engineering, design, and analysis company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Port and Waterfront Structural Engineer in Southeast Texas.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Publishing engineering papers and/or articles
- Performing and reviewing complex engineering computations
- Taking an active role in contract negotiations, project planning, project quality, and project profitability
Qualifications Include:
- Attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours
- 5-10 years or more experience in project management and/or waterfront design
- Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas, or ability to obtain a Texas license within 6 months of hiring
- Experience in the inspection and/or design of, but not limited to, bridges, roadways, railroads, marinas, and/or ports
