Job Summary

A civil engineering, design, and analysis company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Port and Waterfront Structural Engineer in Southeast Texas.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Publishing engineering papers and/or articles
  • Performing and reviewing complex engineering computations
  • Taking an active role in contract negotiations, project planning, project quality, and project profitability

Qualifications Include:

  • Attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours
  • 5-10 years or more experience in project management and/or waterfront design
  • Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas, or ability to obtain a Texas license within 6 months of hiring
  • Experience in the inspection and/or design of, but not limited to, bridges, roadways, railroads, marinas, and/or ports
